The Executive Coaching you need is the one that makes you uncomfortable

Most leaders already know what to do. The gap is between knowing and doing. We close that gap — not with frameworks, but with honest, challenging partnership.

Four phases, one transformation

Our executive coaching engagements are not open-ended therapy sessions. Each phase has a clear purpose, defined outcomes, and a built-in decision point so you stay in control of the investment. Most engagements run between four and nine months, depending on the depth of change you are pursuing.

1

Uncover the real problem

Before we set goals, we diagnose. Through structured interviews, 360-degree feedback from your direct reports, and a behavioural assessment calibrated for senior leaders, we identify the specific patterns that are holding you back. This is not a personality quiz — it is a forensic look at how your leadership actually lands with the people around you. You will receive a written diagnostic brief within two weeks.

2

Design the challenge

Together we build a coaching plan that targets the two or three shifts that will create the most leverage. We deliberately avoid long lists of development areas. Fewer priorities means deeper change. Each shift comes with observable behaviours so your team can see progress, not just hear about it. We also agree on how we will measure success at the end of the engagement.

3

Practice under pressure

Fortnightly coaching sessions become your rehearsal space. We work with live situations from your calendar — the board presentation you are dreading, the underperforming direct report you have been avoiding, the strategic decision you keep deferring. Between sessions, you apply new approaches in real time and report back on what happened. This is where the discomfort lives, and where the growth accelerates.

4

Lock in the new default

In the final phase we consolidate gains, re-survey your stakeholders to measure behavioural change, and build a self-coaching protocol so you do not need us anymore. Our goal is to make ourselves redundant. You leave with a written impact report that you can share with your board or HR sponsor if you choose.

"I came in thinking I needed better time management. What I actually needed was to stop avoiding conflict. That shift changed everything about how my leadership team operates."

Leadership is not a title. It is a set of behaviours — and behaviours can be changed.

We do not believe in leadership archetypes or personality-based destiny. We believe that the way you show up in a room is a habit, and habits respond to deliberate practice. Our coaching is grounded in behavioural science, not pop psychology.

That means we will not ask you to find your "authentic self" or identify your spirit animal. We will ask you to try something different in your next meeting and tell us what happened. Change is built in small, brave moments — not in grand revelations.

We also believe that coaching should be accountable. If your stakeholders cannot see a difference after six months, something is wrong with the coaching, not with you. That is why every engagement includes a pre-and-post stakeholder survey. We put our reputation on measurable results because vague promises waste your time and your organisation's budget.

Before you decide

Our executive coaching is built for senior leaders — CEOs, managing directors, C-suite executives, general managers, and senior vice presidents — who have at least five years of leadership experience and are facing a specific challenge or transition. We do not offer generic leadership programmes. If you are looking for a workshop or a group course, we are probably not the right fit. Our sweet spot is the leader who already has significant capability but is stuck on a particular edge.
Most engagements run between four and nine months. The diagnostic phase takes roughly three weeks, the active coaching phase runs for three to six months with fortnightly sessions, and the consolidation phase wraps up in about a month. We build in a formal checkpoint at the halfway mark so you can decide whether to continue, adjust scope, or conclude early. There is no lock-in beyond the current phase.
Yes. About sixty percent of our current clients work with us entirely via video call. We are based in Queensland but coach leaders across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. For clients within driving distance of East Cody, we are happy to meet in person — sometimes a face-to-face session at a critical moment makes a real difference. The diagnostic phase interviews with your stakeholders are always conducted remotely for scheduling convenience.
We price by engagement phase rather than by the hour, because hourly billing creates a perverse incentive to extend sessions. The initial clarity call is complimentary. After that, we provide a fixed-fee proposal based on the scope of the diagnostic and the anticipated coaching duration. Most full engagements fall between $18,000 and $38,000 AUD excluding GST. Organisations that sponsor the coaching can be invoiced directly.
Therapy explores the past to heal. Mentoring shares experience to advise. Executive coaching does neither. We focus on observable behaviour in your current role and use structured practice to shift that behaviour. We will not tell you what to do (that is mentoring), and we will not explore your childhood (that is therapy). If during the engagement it becomes clear that a therapeutic issue is at play, we will say so honestly and refer you to a qualified professional. The boundaries matter.
